I began my first term as a Ligonier Country Market board member in 2018 and proudly support our public relations and technology efforts — which promote the amazing shopping experience LCM offers and help us build lasting relationships with our customers. I volunteer at the market because I deeply value farm-raised foods and craft-made goods that I can buy directly from the people who produce them. As a consumer, I've always closely eyeballed product labels to choose items made in America. It's that same spirit of American pride, craftsmanship, and community that motivates me to be part of the market along with my wife, Cherise, who is a vendor. With a degree in journalism from California University of Pennsylvania, I'm a former newspaper reporter and have worked 20-plus years in corporate and marketing communications at Highmark and UPMC. A resident of Murrysville, I enjoy woodworking, fly fishing, hunting, and spending time in the outdoors with my wife and friends. I'm enchanted with Ligonier's small-town charm and the Laurel Highlands lifestyle, and I dream of someday owning a home in Ligonier.
