Board member Lois Manon is a 52-year resident of Ligonier Township, where she enjoys yard work (really!) and gardening, especially in her butterfly garden. A graduate of IUP, she began her career as a high school and GED teacher in Latrobe, and retired from The Ligonier Echo, where she was a reporter for 26 years.
Lois and her late husband, Dodd, enjoyed raising their two children, Hugh and Carrie, in the country; and their three grandchildren, Celia, Theo, and Lewis, continue a family tradition with trips to Ligonier Country Market whenever they visit Grandma during the season. Who wouldn’t enjoy the great food, fresh produce, and the wide choice of unique crafts?
