Kelly Svesnik

Market Manager

Kelly is a native of Pittsburgh. She and her husband moved to Ligonier with their family a couple of years ago for the small town charm and land that they always dreamed of! She is a graduate of Seton Hill University with a B.A in Communications. On Saturdays, you’ll see Kelly walking around the market grounds making sure everything is running accordingly. If you are ever in town, you can catch her walking around with her three sons and dog Lilly. On Sunday’s, they make it a family affair where her husband joins in. She has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, craft beer and traveling.

Kristen Johnson

Administrative Assistant

Kristen is our Administrative Assistant and handles the administrative aspects of the Market. Though most of her work is behind the scenes, Kristen enjoys spending her Saturday mornings at the Market. She lives in Ligonier with her son. With a background in sustainable farming, Kristen is deeply passionate about supporting small farms and local artisans. She is honored to be a part this well-loved, and historic Market, as well as part of the Ligonier community.

Katie Andrews

Social Media Coordinator

Katie Andrews has grown up in Ligonier and has been working at the market for 8 seasons now. She has held several

different roles, including playing the first LCM mascot Daisy Mae, being supervisor of the Market Sprouts Kids Program, and being an Assistant Sites Operation coordinator. Now she holds the roles of PR Coordinator and Social Media Manager for the Instagram page. Her favorite thing about working at the market is witnessing the community it provides each weekend. When she’s not running around the market taking photos and interacting with customers, Katie attends Hofstra University in Long Island, pursuing a double major in dance and public relations.

Anna Huss

"Anna Appleby"

Anna Huss, of Ligonier loves her role as Anna Appleby! She enjoys working with children and enjoys sharing her time and talents with the Market Sprouts! Her role as Anna Appleby combines many of her passions as she is artistic and outgoing by nature. Anna has been dancing and performing for the last 8 years; the last 4 years she has done so competitively. She also enjoys playing the clarinet and is looking forward to joining the Marching Rams. For the last 4 years she has amplified her artistic talents at the various art camps the Ligonier area has to offer. Anna enjoys being an asset to the community; through her participation in Student Council and through her own ambition you will find her volunteering for various organizations and offering a helping hand in whatever way she can. She has a big heart and is happy to share it with all of you!

Leah McCall

"Pepper Pumpkin"

Leah McCall is beginning her first season working at the Country Market, after filling in as an elf during the Holiday Market last year. Piper Pumpkin reflects her love of the fall season and all things musical. Leah loved playing with and encouraging the children that were so joyous to do simple crafts with playful scarecrows at the market when she first tried the role out. Outside of the Country Market, she enjoys spending her leisure time reading, sewing, running, diving, baking and of course, playing music.
