Our business functions on a co-operative harvesting model with over 35 registered harvesters in the Pittsburgh area. All product is inspected personally by a recognized expert in the identification of wild mushrooms and certified to identity; Keeping in compliance with Local and National food statutes on wild harvested mushrooms. Starting in 2019 Real Fungi has expanded into the cultivation of Mushrooms; offering exotic and hard to find local variants.
