Rolling Pepperoni is a savory bakery selling pepperoni rolls; feeding hungry folks and connecting the Appalachian culture. My names Katt and Im originally from West Virginia and when I moved to Pittsburgh much of my heart was still in the mountains. So I decided to share a delicious part of the West Virginia Appalachian culture – pepperoni rolls. I hand make the dough using locally sourced ingredients like butter and honey. The pepperoni is my own recipe and made in partnership with Parma Sausage using 100% pork that is hung dry after being seasoned with cracked black pepper; garlic; paprika and fennel seed. But pepperoni rolls arent all I make; instead the menu includes muffuletta rolls; Italian rolls; Cuban rolls; Hot Pepper vegetarian rolls; and many creative off-shoots using cured meats and pickled vegetables.
